ASC2250® LDX
Lean Duplex, High Strength, Bearing-Fit, Stainless Shaft
ASC2250 LDX is a lean duplex stainless steel shafting that exhibits equal parts Austenite and Ferrite. This particular grade will outperform most austenitic grades in a host of critical service applications. It is engineered to resist stress corrosion cracking (SCC), corrosion fatigue, and pitting. The material has a typical hardness of 290 BHN and a typical tensile strength of 94,000 PSI minimum. Call or email us for a quote.
ASC2250 LDX is the newest hybrid of stainless steels offering superior service and high performance for maintenance applications. It combines high chromium, nitrogen, and molybdenum to enhance the corrosion resistance and toughness of the steel.
Agency certifications include USDA approval for dairy processing, (3-A format for sanitary and practice standards; National Sanitation Foundation approval for drinking water applications (NSF Section 61).
